ABSTRACT: Regional inequality refers to disparities between different regions in terms of economic, social,
and environmental development. Regional inequality often impacts more economically
developed countries (MEDCs) than their less economically developed counterparts. Such
disparities often impact countries in terms of differences in income levels, infrastructure quality,
and life as a whole. Several factors influence the level of regional inequality in a country.
